A Battle Creek man who prosecutors say put up a phony for-sale ad in a robbery attempt was sentenced last week.

The Battle Creek Enquirer reports that year-old Torry Pesche pleaded no contest to unarmed robbery last month in Calhoun County Court, and on Friday he was sentenced to 25 months to 15 years in prison. Pesche, along with co-defendant Christian Logan, were accused of putting out a fake ad on Craigslist for a car in October of When two michigan, Jon and Robert Vanderwiel of Grand Rapidscame to Bedford Township to buy the car, the accused attempted to rob them.
