ECU T1n Sprinter. You also need a valve to prevent backflow to your tank. Being after the pump is not required. Midwestdrifter Engineer In Residence. Tee into the line after the pump, but before the filter. You need a check valve on the connection to prevent the 12v pump from shooting water everywhere when the city water is disconnected. Some city water ports have hookup check valve built in, or you can add your own in-line somewhere. You may consider an in-line pressure regulator, as some city water systems can exceed the pressure limits of the shurflow, or some vinyl hookup systems.

One difficulty with an automatic valve is how to sense the tank level, and translate that into controls for an electric water valve. I am having a hard time understanding the positives of this automated tank fill based on tank level vs just using city city water supply. You would have to stay connected for the auto to work, and hookup could just use the water without operating your pump.

It would have the advantage, I guess, of keeping water circulating in the tank, and exercise the water pump. Seems to me like a solution in search of a problem. A simple manual fill valve with vent phrase drunk hookup porn thanks the ground is pretty reliable for filling.
For situations where you are constantly hooked up the common city water hookup with check valve and pressure regulator if needed seem to be the best choice. Midwestdrifter said:. MyOtherCar said:. Most of the RV part of this forum is a solution in serarch of a problem.
