I called Ping today and gave them the serialthey told me these clubs were made in February of Irons do need grips.
Club faces and grooves are in great condition for age. Clubs do show normal signs of usage. Great set. Considered the best iron ever made. I've been getting in at least nine holes most weekends with about 4 hole rounds sprinkled in. There were a couple of exceptions where either the weather was bad on my one day available or the round just fell through because of my playing partners' issues.
So the longest period of time has probably been two weeks. I played with the group on June 2 in Ohio, my next round of golf was 80 days later, 9 holes on August My back isn't great now, but I here play and enjoy it.
