Basically there is this 18 year girl whom I know throw acquaintances. She has a nice personality, is mature and possesses a good sense of humour. But is the age gap too much? I don't know. You sometimes hear about dating years age gaps between people in real life.

I'm also 28 but an 18 year old hasn't been through college, may not have a car and will still want to experience things in life that you may not want to wait out. This is just coming from my past experience. It's a tough call though. Every situation is different, of course If you're looking for a stable, long term thing, it's a bit risky to go for a girl so much younger than you.
On the other hand, if you just want to have fun and see where it goes, then I think you should go for it. You're both adults and this situation isn't uncommon at year.
Honestly, if old were 23 and At that point both of you have probably at least had a taste of adulthood and a few years to experience life. You need time to make your own mistakes and experiences before you're able to really grow into who you are as an adult. If you're particularly mature and have F'd up circumstances, maybe you can do that by the time you hit 18, but the garden year 18 year old, not likely.
