About Me. Poze is a new charity-based auction dating platform for socially conscious people to connect on causes they are passionate about. The app allows users to start and participate in dating auctions with the app currency, pozey. In this internship, I gained experience working and communicating dating a product manager, stakeholders, a design team, and developers.

My responsibilities included user research, ideating concepts, wireframing, prototyping, creating style dating, coordinating with developers, iterating on feedback, and closely talking with and presenting to teams, stakeholders, and engineers.

Design an auction-style, charity-based dating app for passionate individuals trying to make a difference. Auction poze just being created, the designers and product team worked closely together to define our minimum viable product MVP. This allowed us to figure out what needed to be worked on first for the core features of the app to function. Having our MVP defined made assigning tasks and tickets organized and scheduled for everyone to be ready to present in time for stakeholder meetings. To show the most basic functionality of the app I created a user flow to describe how a user would go on a date with someone.

If the user did not have an auction dating, they could start one with dating person or they could bid on a current existing auction to go on a date with the person. My design team was tasked with creating wireframes for poze to get a general layout dating direction for the app. These wireframes are a bit more built out than I would normally do, but since our product free female dating sites assigned our tickets with the text for the screens dating them we got to see a better representation of the app.

We had meetings twice weekly and whenever needed to discuss and collaborate on how we are going to design wireframes in a way that is understandable and efficient to the user. When working with multiple designers it is imperative to have a singular shared style guide to follow by.

This keeps the project cohesive for a uniform finished product. For poze auction were given the colors and logo the stakeholders wanted and from there we expanded our style guide to have matching typography, sizing, icons, and buttons.

We built the mockups in Figma and each peer-reviewed each other's work dailyleaving comments on what could be improved, as well as talking about our designs and comments in more depth during weekly meetings.

Every week we would also meet with stakeholders to review designs and create conversations about adjustments to be made from that week's design sprint. We gathered a second focus group consisting of 10 participants with various backgrounds auction this time we were focused on getting feedback about the design and experience of the app, along with asking which questions should be included in the profile setup.

Along with many other questions, I structured the focus group to get the most information for our top 3 goal questions:. Is the Poze app visually pleasing to look at? Is the navigation bar easy to navigate and do the icons make sense? Which is more valuable, ease of profile setup or extensive knowledge of other users of the app?

The end of my internship concluded shortly after this second focus group. However, I kept a relationship dating the company and a few employees that auction currently work there. Poze had a soft launch for users located in Knoxville to test the effectiveness and appeal of the app. The app did not gain a large user base however the reviews and feedback from current users were positive. Since then Poze is continuing to grow by expanding to Seattle and Washington D. To maximize productivity and teamwork we used an agile methodology, scrum, to deliver consistent work on a fixed and organized dating.

Every 2 weeks the team would start a new sprintin the software Jiraconsisting of new tickets and duties that we were assigned by the product managers to complete by the end of the sprint. Every day we would have meetings to individually talk and present about where we are in our tickets, addressing any blockers, and discussing peer-reviewed dating.
