I think asking for to answer a few basic compatibility questions in their profile might offset this. The app also regularly reminded me that I had downloaded it which encouraged me sites use it and respond to messages and new matches more often. So I email customer service and there are supposed to get back to you with in 48 hours which is a lie I waited almost a week for a response!
