Just like most writers, writing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. From short stories as a child to songs performed in school plays. One way or another I've always written. However, my tale is not one of an overnight success but rather one of a slow burner!
The Dating Zone
It wasn't until I was a 25 years old and in the very early stages of pregnancy that I decided I might be good enough at writing to finally give into zone little voice in my head, the one women dating had been telling me for years to put the book that I'd been mentally drafting, down on paper.
I was a third of the way through when, unfortunately, life decided it had other ideas. Very much out of the dating and barely a few weeks after giving birth, I found myself facing the road zone as a single mum and in the process of getting divorced. Needless to say, I didn't write again for years. Thankfully, after turning my life around and spurred on by my family and young son, I finally put pen to paper again and 'Dispatches from the Dating Zone' was born.

Dating the romance and happy ending. It's a nice easy read and is very easy to relate to Lots of humour and real life characters and as others have mentioned already, I found myself trying to race to the end to see who she ended up with Fleur is an engaging character that many women will be able to relate to.

This is such a fun book which keeps your interest throughout. Feeling as though you're taking the journey with Fleur it isnt long before you find that you are willing her on and hoping that the next one will be "the One". One person found this helpful. As a mum who found myself on the dating scene in my 30's I can certainly relate to Fleurs dating disasters! Will definitely be recommending this to my friends and if they haven't read it by Christmas it will be in their Christmas stockings! It's a great Chick Lit novel to read as you want to keep reading it but also zone don't want it to end. My husband wondered why I was laughing so much, it was written so hilariously well. Top reviews from other countries. Well it did not take long for me to be hooked, I could not turn the pages fast enough, even when I found myself blushing a little. I liked how the author humorously intertwined the strong independent Fluer Summers with her insecurities and sometimes naughty wit.
