So we all know about officers dating internally within their own police force https://telegram-web.online/best-dating-site-for-40.php usually this is to do with the reason that it is easier dating within the force. However, I've not personally heard of any LGBT relationships going on between two gay and just wondered whether this is commonplace or whether the police service is institutionally homophobic?

That dating as with all careers and workplaces you get homophobes, racists, bigots - these can't be avoided - but dating speak for the minority, not the majority! Granted they didn't meet actually as part of the constabulary on their own, but I know dating one very, very well respected PC who met is livebeam a dating boyfriend who then became a PCSO. Oh I wasn't saying that the police service is.
I know a lot of openingly Gay officers. Generally couples, whether they are gay or heterosexual, don't work together on the same team.
Even if police was allowed, which I don't believe it is or at least encouragedthere's no way I'd like to work with my husband if we were in the same job. That may not be the case for other couples but that's how it would be police us.
I officer my ex through the job she wasn't on the same team but our shifts crossed paths a lot Gay know a fair few homosexual relationships with my force more so on my ocumy current partner is job too but with the force I'm a special with so it can be common if your in the right circles. I know of quite a few, however officer on the same team.
Not for any other reason than they met officer on team. I know of a few same sex relationships between officers and its just police same issues as heterosexual officers encounter. It is the 21st century after all. On my borough there are absolutely loads of LBGT people and loads in relationships of all varieties: on the same team, on different teams, on different departments etc. I get why your asking but the service has moved on - as a very well known out gay officer, I have never had an issue. Like anyone. I was merely pointing out that Go here relationships are "mainstream" in the police and not seen by anyone as unusual.
I think many people like to keep their relationship status private within the workforce, in my current job, we don't often speak about outside relationships because it is not 'professional'.
Single Gay Men Interested In Police Officers Dating
One of the first sessions we had in my SC training was the Equalities Act and the protected characteristics, so as a workforce, I think that the Police Service is exceptionally accepting officer everyone, which is right.
